Welcome to the INFO 362 class website. This site is designed to support those students taught by me, Niki Kunene.

Introduction

This is deceptively not an easy course. However many students come to this class and are unaccustomed to the very basics which a third year Information Systems student should be accustomed to. This includes jargon and vocabulary (forget concepts). There is a lot of material and new concepts for the unfamiliar student to learn. In addition the assignments and project are designed to make you learn something about current technology.

Most students fall into the trap of thinking this class is easy. Just because you are not required to program does not mean you will survive with the bare minimum effort. Be warned. For the exams you are required to review vast sums of information in preparation. However, the actual exam of course is selective! I don't exam you on everything you have reviewed. It's very easy to end-up with a D through underestimation of the effort required.

This semester I am adding class 'quizzes' which will be unannounced. It's such a lame way of getting to you class but it must be done. See the syllabus for more details.
